Early childhood educators in the United States are invited to apply for a $1,000 grant to implement a classroom project that enhances the learning experience by positively impacting students on an educational, emotional, and social level. Fifty teachers will receive a $500 stipend for their hard work and dedication and $500 to implement the project. One teacher will be selected for the grand prize, the Helene Marks Award, receive an extra $1,000, and be honored as the National Child Care Teacher of the Year. Applications must be postmarked by December 6, 2010. This grant competition is sponsored by the Terri Lynne Lykoff Child Care Foundation and Children’s Tylenol.
