RubiStar is part of the 4Teachers.org suite of free online tools. Educators can use RubiStar to create high-quality rubrics in just a few minutes using customizable templates. Occasionally we like to post positive feedback we receive about our resources so that other educators might find inspiration.

I just wanted to let you know that I am tutoring a 5th grader named Jackson in reading this summer, and that Rubistar  has saved my life. I don’t really use it to give him a rubric necessarily, but more for organizing my own thoughts and helping his mom understand exactly what I’m trying to teach him (which makes her
